My Crystal Garden Day 1 Day 2 Day 3

In science class our assignment was to make our very own garden {not a real one of course} at the end we would put some kind of liquid {solution} on it so it could grow crystals. Today is the second day of growing and to tell you the truth nothing really exiting happened. I put my "seeds" a.k.a liquid on where i wanted to grow them {they can literally grow almost anywhere, rocks water and wood etc.}They are slowly actually really slowly starting to develop and get form on my wood. On some of my friends garden you can see CRYSTALS! Couple of day past and nothing happened to my garden, so i put my rocks a.k.a wood into some kind of liquid that makes crystals. Lets wait and see if something is going to happen. It's been 2 weeks and the crystals in my liquid are in form, they are as big as rocks, its time to end this incredible unit so i have to write a conclusion. One thing that i learned throughout this unit is that crystals need heat and light to grow, if you leave them in a dark and in a small area they won't grow at all. I also learned when you put crystals on something soft it gets harder like sponge. The Best place where my crystals are growing is in the water. This unit was one of the best units we had had but you need to be patient, I have learned a lot
Thank you Mrs. M
Hope You Enjoyed

Dynamic Earth Review

I will be answering a lot of question about natural recourses….ENJOY
In the program Inner Earth I found out that the layers of are earth go in this order {I am starting from the top to the middle of our earth} First there is the earth’s Crust {beneath the earth’s Crust lie a rocky mantle and iron core} then comes the Upper Mantle, Lower Mantle, Outer Core, and finally the inner core. One awesome fact is that the inner core is as hot as the surface of the sun.
In the program about meteorites I uncovered that meteorites can tell us about the birth of our solar system. Meteorites are the main evidence about clues how the inner earth is made.
In the program about Crystals I found out that Crystals go farm beneath the earth then in the end they move up but not to the surface. Most of the diamonds or Crystals are found in volcanoes or somewhere where there his heat. Crystals get to the surface because in volcanic areas where hot gases meet the cold gasses and deposit crystals.

This Weeks knowledge About Caves

This week I study a little bit about caves and the facts I found where that in a cave it's not cold or hot it's always the same temperature everyday and every night. One more thing I learned while studying was that there are animals who come to caves when its cold or over night, and there are animals who live there their entire life and they don't need eyes to see because they are so used to the dark that non of them even have eyes. There is also this amazing rock called stalagmite, it get's taller inch by inch when water drops splash on it. These are my information about caves hope u enjoyed it.
