Force, Motion, Energy

Hey guys so we started a new unit in science class is about the forces of motion, and they are to things which i have to answer, What i know and what I want to know.
So the thing that I know is that in order to move something you need force {like a bullet hitting a soda can, or a punch.} Motion {like a car.} and energy {which can go with the car and with the punch.} The other thing which i know is that if you go at the speed of light which means that you can trick gravity you start to get heavier and heavier until at one point you stop because you get to heavy.
The thing that i would like to know is if you have enough energy and motion could you run on water, and how do stay on the surface of the water and not sink
I research one of my questions which was how do boats not sink and stay on the surface of the water, this is because the boats positive force is pulling down while the seas negative forces is pushing up. The guy who found out this theory is not with us anymore but still is very cool.Hes called Archimedas

Our overall Reflection

Hey guys, were are at the end of our unit and now are task is to right a reflection. The guiding question through out this unit was "How valuable is a Rock" My answer is that a rock can be just plane, which doesn't cost much at all, but the once which have valuable mineral ans other natural substances may cost a lot {and when i say a lot i mean a lot like 1,000 dollars.} The area of interaction for this unit was environment because we got to learn about natural minerals that we use and need for daily life purposes. I truly felt that this unit was fun because i understood a lot of stuff according to this topic {This unit was a little bit easier then the atoms and molecules that we studied before.} I learn a lot of stuff about minerals in this unit, but one of the most fascinating this i have learned is that minerals can not be formed by living or once living thing, for example they can't be formed from a tree, or a stone but that was once a living thing. One of my favorite parts where when Mrs M gave us the freedom to talk for almost the whole class period about the "Ocean Mining" problem, and the thing that i was worried about was the test, but somehow god helped me and i got a very good grade an i was happy. I thing this unit was very fun and i would change anything except i would say a little bit less homework about blog reflections. Overall this unit was great and i think it was one of my best ones

This is our overall Reflection

Reflection for group discussion

Hello all. Today I am going to write a short reflection about our group discussion project that we did. First of all i would like to thank Mrs M because i like how she gave us the freedom to talk on this subject that was very interesting. What amazed me is that at the end when we had to share our discussion and the proposal {not the marriage kind} that we had we ended up having very similar information and thoughts. I think this was an great idea Mrs M for letting us talk like this and not having steps of how we should talk. My group was excellent we didn't fight, and if we had an "argument" we would solve it peacefully and without harms way. I hope we have more of this freedom to talk
Thank you again Mrs M
Hope you Enjoyed.

A group discussion + proposal
Group members- Ogi, Matija, Han &Ajda
Questions-
           Why are minerals important?
·      Because they use them for daily life purposes such as building materials, medicine and many more important uses
What minerals are found in the world’s oceans?
·      Diamonds
·      Salt
·      Potassium
·      Magnesium.
·      Sand and Gravel.
·      Limestone and Gypsum.
·      Manganese Nodules.
·      Phosphoresces
·      Placer Gold
·      Tin
·      Titanium

Why are these minerals so valuable?
·      Because the process of getting them cost a lot of money
·      Because most of the diamonds lie on the continental shelf

Who should have the right to receive them or the profits?
·      All countries around the specific ocean should have the right to own the minerals
·      The wealthy countries should share the minerals they find with the developing countries, but in return the developing countries should share their minerals

What are the problems with mining in the oceans?
·      It is very expensive
·      It causes earthquakes
·      They don’t have the tools to mine in some countries
·      Some countries are able to mine the minerals from the oceans but do not want to share them

Blue Questions-
Who owns the oceans minerals?
·      Mainly the countries around that part of the ocean
·      Everyone should share their profits/founds
What are the rights?
·      The people that find the minerals
·      The governments
·      Wealthy countries should produce the process and they should share it with the developing countries because they don’t have the privilege to afford it, but in return they need to give workers in return
·      By 2003, 157 nations had signed the law of the Sea treaty. The mining profits must be shared between all nations. Because of the treaty some nations think that everyone should share their technology and profits they get from the deposits

Do you agree with them?
·      Yes we do agree, because every country no matter if they are wealthy or developing should have the rights to have those minerals

The proposal-
Solve the problem without war-
·      We had some disagreements about what to write, because everyone had their own ideas but in the end we ended up voting to get the right proposal.
·      We also had many different answer possibilities so we ended up writing down more than one idea from more than one person
·      We should make a law saying that no matter who finds the minerals has the rights to keep them, no matter where it is
·      They should also share/trade what they find with the developing   countries
·      The red writing is the highlights of our discussion or the disagreements that we had
·      The black is what we decided

Copper in Serbia

Hello all. Today in science class we have to right a blog post about the most common mineral in my country which you can see is Serbia. I chose to talk about copper because its one of the most common minerals found in Serbia. Now how is copper mined? Copper is always found under the earths crust which means its subsurface mining. The biggest company that produces copper in Serbia is called RTB. The copper is exported to Americal along with some other countries but Serbia is keeping 33% of the mining area which gives a lot of copper. Copper is used for rooftops best against erosion, it is also used for wire in houses. In Serbia copper is especially valuable because the Serbs were one of the first ones to produce it and show it to the world. Copper is depended on in Serbia because you use this mineral for many many things such as wires in houses like I mentioned before. In conclusion Serbia is very rich on copper and it is the most common found mineral.

Ocean Mining, is it a Big Problem
Hello guys I am going to talk you of what I have been doing in science class lately. So on Friday, April 8, Our teacher {Mrs. M} gave us a very problematic article to read, and so I did. The main Topic of this article was: Should the wealth be shared for ocean floored mining. After we read the text we are going to have to answer 3 questions and they will be right bellow along with my answer and opinion.
Indentify the Problem: The Problem about ocean floor mining is that not every country can afford to buy the necessary tools and technology needed to process this type of mining.
Analyze the Options : I think that the only options that the developing countries have are to somehow persuade the wealthy countries to help them and give them the money necessary to  process this kind of mining.
Find a Solution:  I think that the countries in the Pacific Ocean that should share their founds are Australia, and the island around it, with the east part of Russia as well as Asia and Japan {Japan really needs help right now.} The countries that should share minerals in North and south Atlantic are the following. Iceland and Greenland, Portugal, the east side of America and the west side of Africa. And all the countries around the Arctic ocean should share their fortune and minerals.
In conclusion I strongly  believe that the countries that can afford these types of things {tool} should share their wealth.
