Copper in Serbia

Hello all. Today in science class we have to right a blog post about the most common mineral in my country which you can see is Serbia. I chose to talk about copper because its one of the most common minerals found in Serbia. Now how is copper mined? Copper is always found under the earths crust which means its subsurface mining.The biggest company that produces copper in Serbia is called RTB. The copper is exported to Americal along with some other countries but Serbia is keeping 33% of the mining area which gives a lot of copper. Copper is used for rooftops best against erosion, it is also used for wire in houses. In Serbia copper is especially valuable because the Serbs were one of the first ones to produce it and show it to the world. Copper is depended on in Serbia because you use this mineral for many many things such as wires in houses like I mentioned before. In conclusion Serbia is very rich on copper and it is the most common found mineral.
